Writing & Meditation Retreat (ONLINE)
About the event
Writing and meditation are overlapping arts that renew one's access to wonder and possibility. In transitioning back and forth between silence and expression, we'll explore how each enlivens the other. All levels of experience are welcome. Writers from all genres and backgrounds are welcome.
This retreat will include:
—Guided meditations to settle the mind and reconnect with breath and body
—Periods of focused writing with inspirational prompts
—Poems and quotes to awaken creativity
—Closing observations (sharing of work is optional)
Although the wind blows terribly here,
the moonlight also leaks
between the roof planks
of this ruined house.
